This privacy policy applies to the Apigee Edge to X Migration Tool and related services operated by LAVIQ (getlaviq.com).

1. Information we collect

• Admin credentials: When you sign in, we collect your email address and password. Passwords are stored securely using industry-standard hashing.
• Apigee Edge credentials: To connect to your Apigee Edge organization, you provide your Edge username and password (Basic authentication) or Machine User OAuth credentials. These are stored only in your session.
• Apigee X credentials: To connect to your Apigee X organization, you provide a Google Cloud Service Account key (JSON). This is stored only in your session and is not persisted.
• Migration data: Migration history and logs are stored temporarily to provide progress tracking and status reporting. These contain entity names and counts but no sensitive credential data.
• Usage: We may log visits and errors to operate the service. We do not sell this data.

2. How we use it

We use this information to provide the Apigee Edge to X Migration Tool, authenticate you, and facilitate migration of your Apigee Edge entities to Apigee X. We do not use your data for advertising or sell it.

3. Sharing

We do not sell or rent your data. We do not share it with third parties for marketing. Data is used only to run this service and to proxy API calls to Apigee Edge and Apigee X APIs on your behalf, or when required by law.

4. Security and retention

Your Apigee Edge credentials, Apigee X service account keys, and session tokens are stored only in your encrypted server-side session and are never exposed to the browser. Migration data and logs are stored temporarily for progress tracking and are not shared. Sessions expire automatically after inactivity and are cleared immediately upon sign-out.

5. Your choices

You can sign out at any time to clear your session, including all Apigee Edge and Apigee X credentials. Service account keys and API credentials are used only during your active session and are not persisted beyond the session lifecycle.
